Im a third generation tattooer. I learned from my dad Guy Martynuik who opened this shop in 1976. He learned from his dad (Picture Machine) Pat Martynuik who opened San Francisco’s oldest running tattoo shop. I have been tattooing since 1996 and have tattooed all over the world honing my craft.

Hi, I'm Myrtle! Born and raised in Reno, I started tattooing in 2007 after moving to Las Vegas. After a short time in New Hampshire, I moved back to Reno in 2014 and have been with the Body Graphics crew ever since. I don't specialize in any one style, I just like tattooing. I have since traveled all over the country, tattooing at various shops and conventions. I would consider myself a traveling tattooer and I feel there is always more to explore. I have been fortunate enough to work closely with many tattooers that I would consider legends in our trade. I am constantly trying to learn as I further refine myself and my craft.
I will tattoo pretty much anything. I wouldn’t call myself a specialist of any one style. I enjoy tattooing various styles. My focus is on creating a tattoo that will last and hold up over time. Therefore, I feel tattoos should be applied with a traditional approach that respects the medium of tattoo. In other words, tattoos should be bold, clean, and easy to read from a distance. Straightforward and impactful.
